Martin H. Goldstein, JD, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development

Martin H. Goldstein has served as Senior Vice President Corporate Development since August 2006. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Goldstein consulted for OncoMed beginning in October 2004 in the areas of corporate and business development and intellectual property. From 2001 to August 2006, Mr. Goldstein was a consultant to biotechnology companies in the areas of corporate and business development and intellectual property. Mr. Goldstein was a co-founder in 1995 of ViroLogic, Inc., a biotechnology company developing and marketing products to guide and improve the treatment of viral diseases. Mr. Goldstein served ViroLogic, Inc. through 2001 in various executive positions including President, Chief Executive Officer and director. From 1993 to 1995, Mr. Goldstein was a consultant to privately held biotechnology companies in the areas of business development and intellectual property. From 1991 to 1993, Mr. Goldstein was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Epimmune, Inc., a biotechnology company. From 1989 to 1991, Mr. Goldstein was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Xoma Corporation, a biotechnology company. From 1985 to 1989, Mr. Goldstein was Patent Counsel at Genentech, Inc., a pharmaceutical company. From 1983 to 1985, Mr. Goldstein was Patent Attorney at Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd., a pharmaceutical company. He received his MS in physiology from the University of Florida School of Medicine and his JD from Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University.
